Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks an Analyst to join our Business Management team in the Gurgaon office. The role will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to gain experience in a growing industry, to collaborate with the firm’s senior management to develop their skills and market knowledge.

Responsibilities

The Analyst will be part of the business management efforts and will work closely with the firm’s senior management on a variety of tasks, including:

Providing Tower’s global management and support teams with timely analysis across a range of topics, including reporting on market analysis, profitability modeling and operational efficiency
Contributing to research and forecasting of potential business opportunities and projects
Liaising with different teams across Tower by collaborating on a wide variety of the firm’s challenging, analytical projects
Executing strategic priorities for Tower’s business
Market trend and regulatory research
Completing other tasks as assigned by senior management

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a motivated college graduate or have 1-2 years of professional experience in a related field, a track record of success, and a bachelor’s or advanced commerce degree from a top university. He or she will also have:

Understanding of trading technology and fluency discussing technical concepts
Analytical abilities and strong communication skills
Project management experience
A demonstrated capacity to work independently and as a team member
Proficiency with relational databases such as SQL, as well as data visualization tools is desired
Programming skills are not a requirement, but experience with Python or other analytical languages is a plus
