The role of the Associate Trader is the execution of OTC and listed derivatives. We are looking for someone to join our team in either our Seattle or Chicago offices.
Responsibilities:
- Trade execution of OTC and listed derivatives, primarily foreign exchange.
- Client service, including reporting, analysis, and market commentary.
- Development and analysis of trading strategies.
- Assist IT teams with feedback for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Assist Portfolio Managers with processing data and analysis.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience preferred.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience in suite of Microsoft Office products, namely Excel.
- Programming skills in VBA, R, Python, and SQL preferred.
- Detail oriented and independent worker with innovative problem-solving
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities, while meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably related to finance, computer science, or mathematics.
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Willingness to have a flexible schedule, at times working evening hours.
