The Office of the Chief Investment Officer, led by co-CIO Harry Schwefel, supports the success and development of our long/short discretionary investment professionals, oversees our sector executive, portfolio construction, and liquidity groups, and continues to advance the tools and resources available to our teams.

In this role you will:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our team, responsible for aiding the Head of Product Design across all areas of the long/short product strategy. In this role, you will work with Point72 senior management and investment professionals across sectors, presenting the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our business. Specifically, you will:

  • Partner with the Head of Product Design to execute on our mission to deliver best in class tools to Point72 investment professionals
  • Collaborate with Point72 Technology’s product managers, designers, and software developers in partnership with Compliance to conceptualize, prepare, and execute on new technology tools to improve the firm’s investment and management processes
  • Own the planning, prioritization, and success measurement infrastructure and processes
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external partners, including Point72 senior leadership
  • Summarize complex issues with concise top-down communication
  • Prepare bespoke reports and dashboards from a variety of sources across the firm

What’s Required:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience working in Finance or Technology
  • Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Organization and project management skills and experience
  • Experience delivering solutions through the entire software development life cycle
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), SQL, Python, or other coding languages
  • Proficiency in Tableau or other BI platforms
  • Understanding of core finance and investing concepts
  • The ability to synthesize information quickly in order to provide an independent and objective viewpoint, propose appropriate solutions, and drive meaningful change
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary range is $170,000-210,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
