We have a crucial role for a skilled Business Analyst to join the DX (Digital Transformation) Applications team, to help manage, change and plan future application improvements. The team have a mission to support sales and marketing performance across multiple B2B and B2C business groups, by providing first class user support, system maintenance, and developing and simplifying functionality.

With initial focus on our Salesforce.com applications, you will be a translator between the business and technical teams for key projects and change requests. Breaking through ambiguity to thoroughly understand business goals, impacted processes, people and their challenges. You should be a strategic thinker who excels at execution, loves to find innovative solutions to complex problems spanning both operational processes and software solutions; ultimately driving adoption and increasing the value of our applications.

You will be joining a great team who work collaboratively, are moving towards more agile practices, and who bring humour and camaraderie to work in equal measure.

You will:

Mobilise, execute, and manage projects to complete detailed analysis of business requests
Deep dive the ‘why’ behind requests and thoroughly scope improvement ideas
Manage timelines and capacity planning of project discovery
Responsible for producing key project documentation e.g. stakeholder mapping, project initiation, current state (As-Is) and future state (To-Be) process mapping, and user journeys.
Support User Acceptance Testing with end users, including writing user stories and securing user acceptance sign offs.
Review and analyse processes to proactively identify areas for improvement and recommend industry best practices, business process innovation, to improve user experience and address pain points.
Be the voice of the business when leading facilitation with technical colleagues, to collaboratively explore and define new solutions to business challenges and requirements.
Provide regular project progress reporting to senior management
Support the delivery of Sony Europe’s Salesforce framework, strategies, and values

You will bring:

Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst, including Process Modelling, stakeholder management and change / transformation
Proven experience of gathering and documenting high quality business requirements
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously, in a complex environment
Ability to use communication, cultural sensitivity and negotiation to find compromises

Desirable skills you might also have:

Salesforce.com experience / certification
Experience of workshop / Design Thinking facilitation
Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ plus integrated marketing tools e.g. Marketo
Experience working in a B2B technology business
Experience working in an Agile environment
