As a Business Operations Analyst, you will be responsible to support the operational planning needs of the Platform business unit organization. This will include working with various stakeholders and leaders across the HR, Finance, Operations, and Engineering organizations. This role will require excellent communication skills and the ability to present findings to executives in a clear and concise manner.
Responsibilities
• Design and build scalable, reliable operational and financial models,
dashboards, and reports for cross-functional teams and executives
• Ability to perform deep data investigation and analyze trends to answer
business questions that lead to insights and actionable outcomes, including
making recommendations to leadership on key strategic decisions
• Assist in resolving business issues using systems and data
• Analyze business goals, objectives, and needs
• Ability to learn new software applications quickly
• Liaison between cross-functional partners to collect feedback and data
• Perform research and analysis in support of operations
• Estimate costs and benefits of multiple actions and/or solutions and provide
recommendations
• Drive opportunities for improvements, and lead initiatives for continuous
improvement of processes, standards, systems, tools and workflows
Qualifications
• Minimum 2-5 years as an analyst in a professional setting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and Tableau skills
• Previous experience building financial models and managing stakeholder
assumptions
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Education
• Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related quantitative major
• MBA Preferred
• Previous experience in Management consulting firm, start-up or equivalent
experience preferred
