As a Business & Research Analyst within our Market Lens team, you will be working with both qualitative (investment documents) and quantitative data as it relates to the institutional investment industry. You will be part of a team with shared daily responsibilities contributing to data sourcing, review, interpretation, summary, and input efforts. Qualitative in-depth document review and interpretation will be a daily task. This role requires a strong independent work ethic to reach shared team daily objectives and goals. This role requires a structured day-to-day schedule with daily database management objectives; the role is more task oriented than long-term project oriented. You will be researching institutional investors daily, reviewing their investment disclosure and analyzing how they are managing their assets. You will be writing investment email commentary for our clients as part of your weekly responsibilities. You will become familiar with investment strategies across all asset classes from traditional (Equity and Fixed Income) to Hedge Funds and Private Markets (Private Equity, Private Debt, and Real Assets).
With this position we offer:
You’ll be comfortable interacting and collaborating with internal teams like Sales, Client Success Managers (CSMs), and Solutions Specialists. This role requires collaboration with team members globally, many direct team members will be based in the United States (New Jersey/New York/Colorado/Georgia). You may also interact with institutional investors and clients via phone and email. You’ll assist with creating easily repeatable procedures for identifying potentially inaccurate or bad data as well as assist with developing processes for improving data collection. You will be responsible for writing market commentary that gets sent to our clients which highlights investment documents in the Market Lens database.
