C# Quant Developer

We are assembling a strong Commodity Technology team to build our next generation in-house commodity technology platform and associated ecosystem of tools, applications and systems. Commodity Technology provides a dynamic and fast-paced environment with excellent growth opportunities and projects involving cutting edge technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop data intensive, quantitative trading and risk applications using C#/.NET
  • Working closely with traders, quants, and other technologists globally to understand system development requirements
  • Developing software solutions in an agile fashion using modern software development practices e.g. comprehensive testing, version control practices, CI/CD, etc.
  • Testing and deploying software solutions in an automated fashion using CI/CD practices
  • Devops style management and operation of DEV/UAT/PROD deployment environments

Mandatory Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of C# and .NET Platform technologies
  • Expert knowledge of developing complex, data-intensive applications
  • Strong knowledge of large scale software design, architecture and patterns
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and databases
  • Good understanding of financial products, markets and trading and risk processes in at least one asset class
  • Experience using AWS technologies to develop cloud-based applications
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker / Kubernetes)
  • Experience with modern DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with derivative instruments: forwards, swaps, futures, options

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience working in commodities space
  • Experience developing complex charting/visualization applications
  • Experience developing trading strategy frameworks and tools
  • Good knowledge of Python programming language
  • Experience using PyData stack libraries
