Ensuring running workloads are deployed optimally, and recommending and implementing continuous improvements on the private cloud platform
Ensuring the platforms are configured and maintained from code
Running performance diagnostics and tuning of the entire stack
Capacity planning to ensure seamless scale-out without affecting services
Security-hardening the platforms and supporting systems
Utilising monitoring and observability leveraging tools such as Prometheus, Elk and Splunk
Providing platform support with on call element
There is a large focus on applying automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), alongside the use of CI/CD tools and methodologies in all of our engineering work.
We use open source tooling and best practices to increase the pace of delivery, and have embedded a continuous improvement culture and philosophy across the organisation.
