Cost Data Analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Apply business and analytical expertise to support the development and acquisition of cutting-edge Navy programs. Conduct research and evaluate large datasets using quantitative tools and methods while developing innovative solutions to complex problems. Apply statistical analysis and cost estimating techniques to develop quantitative insights by interpreting raw inputs and creating data-driven forecasts. Build sophisticated cost models and advanced data visualization to convey results in a meaningful way while developing business consulting experience. Work in collaborative team environment where each role makes an impact and provides career growth opportunities. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with cost estimating in a professional or academic environment
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Experience in Statistics and Quantitative Analysis in a professional or academic environment
  • Knowledge of analytical programming using R or Python
  • Ability to be a self-starter and acquire expertise quickly
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with DoD cost estimating and acquisition process
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools, including Power BI or Tableau
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICEAA) Certification

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $53,800 - $100,900 (annualized USD)
New York (including New York City): $57,200 - $123,400 (annualized USD)
