As a Credit Trader, Systematic Strategies, you will sit at the crossroads of finance and applied science, collaborating with research and with other production staff to improve execution and implement trading strategies. The trader’s daily responsibilities include supervising corporate bond execution for the strategy, trading counterparty relationship development, and system-design work in collaboration with the technical staff. This role is a means to make a difference: you will be on the frontier of applying systematic trading to credit markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee corporate bond executions from an automated trading system
  • Quantitatively research and improve the quality of execution
  • Contribute to the codebase underlying automated trading operations
  • Provide insight and expertise to the research and development staff

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in fixed income trading or trade support
  • A high level of quantitative and technical skills
  • Demonstrable clarity of thought (not optional)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in a technical discipline
  • Experience working in partnership with quantitative researchers and/or other technical staff
  • Established counterparty trading relationships
  • Deep understanding of credit execution venues and market microstructure
