Data Analyst Intern

The Challenge:

You’ll work with internal or external clients on stages of the consulting life cycle, including business development, assignment planning, data gathering, data analysis, develop solutions, generate recommendations, communicate results, and implement solutions. You’ll gather data, show analytic problem solving, present ideas clearly and logically, compose appropriately structured text, work with individuals at all levels, provide input to deliverables, including reports. You will execute multiple assignments, meet agreed deadlines, and adjust to changing client demands.

You Have:

Experience with analytical programming languages, including Python or SQL
Experience with data presentation and visualization tools, including Tableau or PowerBI DAX
Knowledge of AWS S3 or Cloud environments
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Power Point and Excel, VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, and conditional formatting
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)-related field by Spring 2023 to Winter 2024

Nice If You Have:

Experience in working with cross-functional teams throughout a software development process on Agile, Waterfall, or Lean
Knowledge of case management systems (CRM), including Microsoft Dynamics
Ability to operate under limited supervision
Ability to multi-task between projects
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $45,400.00 to $93,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
