Global Fund Accounting (GFA) is expanding its Data, Analytics, and Reporting Team. We’re currently looking to hire a experienced Data Analyst to accelerate our analytical capabilities and drive optimization through data within the department.
In this role you will:
- Engage with internal partners to understand business strategy, questions, and goals. Bring structure to business requests, translate requirements into an analytical project approach, and support projects through completion.
- Acquire and compile structured and unstructured data and verifies its quality, accuracy and reasonableness.
- Perform analyses of historical data to surface trends and insights using analytical methods.
- Prepare and deliver visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement.
- Own and manage recurring analytic or reporting processes.
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What it takes:
- Expertise in data analytics and visualization with the ability to communicate insights and translate to tangible actionable solutions for business partners to implement
- Expertise in technologies used to perform analytics and visualizations (Tableau, PowerBI, Python, SQL, AWS, Excel).
- Ability to manage a portfolio of analytical projects while coaching and training junior level crew.
- Ability to frame business problem into analytical project and serve as a consultant to the business.
- Minimum of three years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
