**Job Description: **
Perform analyses of historical data to surface trends and insights using advanced analytical methods; validate analytical techniques employed by other analysts; acquire and compile structured and unstructured data and verify its quality, accuracy and reasonableness; prepare and deliver expert level visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement; engage with internal partners to understand business strategy, questions and goals; bring structure to business requests, translate requirements into an analytical project approach, and lead complex projects through completion; delegate tasks and provide tactical and strategic guidance to peers; serve as analytics expert on cross-functional teams for large strategic initiatives; develop, own and manage recurring analytic or reporting processes; actively develop the analytics community by mentoring, coaching and connecting others with resources and training; participate and present during scheduled analytics seminars. Company operates on hybrid model with three days in office and work-from-home available two days.
Requires Master’s in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or another closely related field and two years of experience in job offered or in IT positions including Senior Consultant and/or Senior Business Intelligence Analyst; or Bachelor’s and five years of experience. Background in education, training or experience must include SQL, Python, Tableau, Data Analysis, Data Visualization, Data Storytelling, internal consultation to determine stakeholder issues and provide expertise as data expert on the usefulness and limitations of the requested data and where applicable suggest an approach where requested data provided in a manner so as to enable better data backed decisions.
