Mainframe Data Analyst; Mainframe Services, Data Management & Reporting Team

A data analyst is more than a number cruncher. Analysts review data and determine how to solve problems using data, learn critical insights about business applications and processes, and support mainframe capacity planning, data management and cost recovery processes. Analysts also prepare presentations and communicate this information with key stakeholders, including company leadership.
Position Summary
Functional responsibilities include:
Support Reporting and, Charge Back roles, and fulfill ad hoc business partner requests
Participate in requirements development, technical data analysis and support of mainframe systems engineering activities
Support engineering and analytical tasking related to mainframe capacity planning and application performance data collection, and reporting
Assist in the identification, translation, and documentation of business requirements into technical deliverables for the Reporting Team role
Position is for individual contributor and will participate in an on-call rotation
Primary Skill
SAS language, scripting language and data analysis
Secondary Skill
Mainframe platform subject matter expert; provides technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member and individual contributor
Tertiary Skill
Perform software installation, maintenance, administration, and production support for Broadcom/CA MICS. • General understanding of mainframe hardware server planning concepts
