Job Description:

The Data Science team works closely with different Operations, Technology and Business Partners in designing and implementing predictive models and analytical tools using latest machine learning techniques. This role will also include participation in all phases of Model development including Model development, Model validation, Model Governance and ongoing monitoring in a production environment.
Responsibilities
• The role requires to work closely with the business analysts, business partners and other technology partners to gather requirements as part of process discovery
• Successfully use advanced predictive models and analytics to derive insights from data to implement business strategy and automation
• Assess accuracy and sanity of data sources and implement efficient pre- processing processes
• Author detailed model documentation for Regulatory audit and Model validation. Respond to inquiries from Model Risk Management and other internal controls teams
Requirements
• Must be a current Year Up inter with Bank of America
• 1+ years relevant industry experience and minimum of 2 years developing machine learning models
• Experience working on the model development lifecycle
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders
• Self-starter and ability to multitask with tight deadlines and navigate changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Other Qualifications:

  1. Technical background (Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering) and familiarity working on the model development lifecycle
  2. Experience coding for data analysis (SAS, R, Python, etc.)
