Our Trading Team is looking for dedicated Discretionary Junior Traders to take on a full-time internship this summer. We’re looking for candidates from any discipline—we pride ourselves on having diverse backgrounds on our team, ranging from traditional business and finance to philosophy and history—that can think quickly, have a good grasp on current events and passion for geopolitics. This is an entry-level role, as we use the internship period to teach our new hires about trading, our strategy, and how we follow the markets. A background in trading is not required. Flexibility in schedule will be imperative as schedules are subject to change based on various business needs in order to cover global market hours. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of trade-able qualitative strategies. You will be integral in the interaction between various research and trading teams, and you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies. This internship opportunity may lead to a full-time position upon graduation.

What you’ll be working on:

Monitoring fundamental, geopolitical, and macroeconomic news and its impact across financial markets
Developing and executing trade strategies
Researching and analyzing trends across major financial markets and cultivate a thorough understanding of current world events

Are pursuing a bachelor's or master's and have an expected graduation date between December 2023 and June 2024
Have a passion for geopolitics and current events
Are interested in learning how to trade
Have a strong interest in learning about global markets and world economies
Flexibility with varying work schedules depending on world events – successful candidates must be comfortable working off hours to accommodate global markets
Are able to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to work under pressure
Have excellent written and communication skills
