About the Role
Old Mission is looking for an ETF Sales Trader that will help build and
maintain meaningful trading relationships on behalf of the firm. This
individual will work with our institutional clients to execute their trading
strategies, leveraging Old Mission’s technology and global trading desks to
deliver a positive and consistent experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with institutional clients of the firm
- Work closely with our principal trading desks, serving as a central point of contact between internal stakeholders and our external clients and partners
- Ensure efficient execution of options orders over the phone and electronically
- Cross sell with other global trading desks within Old Mission (ETFs, ADRs, equities, bonds)
- Willingness to travel / attend industry events and client meetings as needed
- Assist clients with pre/post trade information as needed
Required Skills
- 3+ years in a sales trading role (ETFs or Equities)
- Experience covering clients and working orders
- Understanding of sell-side OMS – FlexTrade preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail - working with customers & internal trade desks
- Existing relationships with US Institutional clients are a plus
- Team player
- Series 7 is required
In accordance with New York City’s Pay Transparency Law, the anticipated base
salary range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000. Base salary does not
include other forms of compensation or benefits offered to employees.
