Deutsche Bank Research is responsible for economic and financial analysis within Deutsche Bank Group and covers asset allocation and all major industry sectors. We examine relevant trends for the Bank in financial markets, the economy and society, highlight risks and opportunities and function as a consultant for the Bank, its clients, and stakeholders. Deutsche Bank Research delivers high-quality independent analysis and actively promotes public debate on economic, fiscal, labour market and social policy issues.

You will be part of the European High Yield Research team and will be required to maintain coverage of European Leveraged Finance Credits (bonds, loans, Credit Default Swaps). This involves analysis and understanding of sectors and companies, on-going authoring, and production of written research to promote investment views and marketing of those views to internal and external clients.

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide clients with insights into European leverage finance credits. Modelling and written reports will be complemented with client meetings

  • Assist with investor education on new primary transactions

  • Maintenance of formal coverage on universe of names in secondary market

  • Contribute to team publications on a routine and adhoc basis

Your skills and experience

  • Previous experience of covering European Leverage Finance Credits

  • A solid understanding of credit fundamentals

  • Strong written and presentation ability

  • Track record of producing research or analysis that provides insight into financial markets and/ or make investment recommendations

  • Strong interpersonal skills which enable you to market your ideas to the internal and external client base
