Overview

You will join the Spot Voice Foreign Exchange (FX) trading desk. This desk is responsible for market-making and risk managing spot trades for G10 currency pairs in the North American time zone. The team is very client centric and works every day with sales to meet clients’ needs and partner closely with the Electronic Spot Desk to enhance the offering to our clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Pricing, trading, and risk managing an FX trading book

  • Working as part of the Spot Voice FX Trading Team, partnering with Sales, and meeting clients to gain a detailed understanding of the client needs, execution strategies, and liquidity requirements, and how the team can be a relevant liquidity provider to them commercially

  • Analyze financial data and economic events, utilizing fundamental and technical analysis to develop trading strategy and ideas over different time frames for G10 spot

  • Distribute regular commentary pre and post market events

How You’ll Lead

  • Managing existing and developing innovative, sustainable, and commercial liquidity offerings, while monitoring and optimizing performance

  • Attend client meetings & events to build on existing relationships and work to expand the FX business across hedge fund, institutional, and corporate clients

Skills You’ll Need

  • A deep understanding of the FX market

  • Previous market-making experience across G10 currencies

  • A proven track-record in revenue generation

  • A proven track-record in sustaining/generating high quality market share

  • Strong quantitative skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Self-motivated

  • Self-starter

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $190K to $300K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
