As an FX trader, you will supervise our systematic trading program in the FX market. You will assist in building scalable trading operations from scratch and directly interact with trading counterparties. The collaboration amongst the team will enable you to become an expert in market microstructure and trading operations. Under mentorship from senior traders, you will build analytics and automation to improve the team’s workflow

Responsibilities

  • Monitor high-volume execution algorithms and portfolio risk

  • Track real-time market developments

  • Interface with external brokers and trading counterparties

  • Build process and technology to prevent errors or outages while increasing team capacity

  • Work global market hours for a portion of every year on a rotational basis

Requirements

  • A passion for markets

  • Exposure to a programming language like Python or R on a Unix-like OS

  • A skillset in data analysis and visualization

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline

  • Attention to detail and clarity of thought

  • Authorization to work in the UK
