The VP Lead of Model Risk Governance Platform (“MRG Platform”) is a member of
the Model Risk Management team that oversees model risk across the State
Street. The incumbent will be responsible for designing, maintaining and
supporting of the MRG Platform, the system or record for all model risk
governance and control activities including inventory, validation, ongoing
monitoring, implementation, quality assurance, risk reporting, etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leading the activities related to the design, maintain, and support of the MRM Platform, enhancing existing workflow designs and assisting in expanding the capabilities of the technological solution
- Collaborating with IT business partners in building and maintaining software lifecycle deliverables including requirements definition, design, construction, and testing of new and enhanced functionality
- Working with Model Risk Governance Team in designing and automating Model Risk Monitoring reports and attestation process, and contributing to reporting strategy & design
- Managing a team of 4-5 employees globally in designing, building, and maintaining user management & user access control systems for MRM platform
- Working with functional owners to maintain and enhance source information systems
- Performing ad hoc reporting as required
- Participating in user training/support to help drive adoption of reports and analytics tools among report consumers
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification and Experiences
- 3+ years of working experience in analytics and/or computing with a Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, statistics, or related fields
- 3+ years of management experience, exhibiting a proven track record in project management and people management
- 3+ years of experience with scripting languages such as XML and in programing using SAS and/or SQL preferred

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $185,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above,
the applicable range could differ.
