Job Description

Programme duration: from 4 to 6 months, starting in 2024.

Who qualifies: penultimate or final year students.

You will have the opportunity to join a growing and dynamic environment, where you will be mentored from industry professionals to support your professional growth, with the opportunity to stay as a full-time graduate Quantitative Developer Analyst upon successful completion of your internship.

As a Quantitative Developer, you will develop efficient, robust, and optimized software for Research and Trading. You will be given the opportunity to:

  • Participate in the design, implementation, and monitoring of our real-time trading algorithms
  • Help integrate these algorithms into our live trading platform
  • Build low latency tools running on high-performance servers allowing our High Frequency Trading team to stay competitive in any environment
  • Provide direct support to Researchers and Traders
  • Detailed practical hands-on experience with components of low latency trading: software, hardware, and systems
  • Systems architecture theory: understanding how these components impact each other, how they are controlled, and how they are measured

Your present skillset

  • Excellent fundamental computer science skills such as algorithmics, data structures, algorithmic complexity, parallel programming, OOP etc
  • Interest in software engineering/low latency/high efficiency development using C++, C# or Python
  • Interest in developing skills in real-time critical trading systems
  • Excellent communication skills – you will interact directly with Traders and Researchers
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Appetite for becoming autonomous quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Rigorous and structured mindset

Additional:

  • Database knowledge such as SQL/NoSQL is a plus
  • Front-end development is a plus
  • Interest in financial markets/algorithmic trading is a plus
