Role Title: Investment Analyst (Equities)

Overview of the team/department:

The Equity Analyst role provides an opportunity to work in a highly successful team at BlueCrest. We are looking for a strong single-name fundamental analyst who is willing to work as a generalist covering multiple equity sectors.

Role requirements:

This analyst would (1) provide unit economics-based understanding of micro trends to support macro trades (in both equity and macro expressions); (2) research and cover single names across industries to generate micro single- stock ideas for the equity portfolio.

Daily tasks would be doing primary research, reading public filings, updating financial models, and talking with company and industry contacts.

About you:

The ideal candidate would:

Have 5+ years of experience in public equity, whether at a bank, hedge fund, or long-only.
Have an athlete mindset, i.e. willing to be intellectually flexible and move quickly, initiate coverage on new names quickly.
Open to various sector experts, TMT may be preferred.
Exceptional academic record.
