Job Description

The Investment Services team is responsible for providing high quality support to Man Group’s Sales team, Portfolio Managers and Clients across the globe. The team performs a wide range of duties including handling client inquiries, writing marketing materials and DDQs/RFPs, and providing fund commentary. As such, the team plays a vital role in all aspects and stages of the client experience and is fundamental to the on-going and future success of the firm’s business. Based in London, the role will involve working closely with both senior Investment Services professionals and sales personnel in Man's Riverbank House office and across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Sales, Portfolio Management and key stakeholders across the business to write RFP/DDQ content and fund marketing material of the highest quality. Ensure that the latest fund research, analysis and messaging is incorporated.
  • Help to manage and maintain Qvidian, Man Group’s central repository for all RFP/DDQ questions and answers.
  • Work closely with senior team members to write and maintain Man Group content that can be used across RFPs and DDQs.
  • Spend time in each investment engine aligned Investment Services team, learning about each engine and helping to draft DDQ content.
  • Translate complex investment ideas and data into a logical and visually engaging format

Technical Competencies

  • Keen interest in the financial sector and a willingness to learn how investment funds operate.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in understanding institutional client expectations and requirements.
  • Ability to develop strong-working relationships with stakeholders across the firm and embrace. engaging with these individuals.
  • Good organisational and time management skills. Ability to prioritise work effectively.
  • Strong analytical ability with good attention to detail / accuracy.
  • Team-oriented mind-set to support your colleagues, as well as experience working. independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
