We are looking to hire an Investment Analyst to assist the Head of Trading in driving the success of the fund through effective capital allocation. You will be primarily responsible for monitoring and analyzing the performance of the fund, making recommendations to optimize capital allocation and collaborate with fund managers to make informed investment decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of portfolio and risk management, excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Python, SQL and Tableau to assist the various business functions: Business Development, Treasury, Investor Relations and Risk. The role offers great exposure to the many and varied aspects of a hedge fund, and you will be expected to be a great communicator, a strong team player, an open-minded collaborator and able to bring your own and others innovative ideas to life. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze performance of key investment strategies across all major asset classes (multi-asset, volatility, and relative value)
Work with large amounts of data to draw insights, correlations and patterns
Develop tools to monitor and measure risk-adjusted returns across multiple portfolios
Improve algorithm and design visualization for back testing and simulations
Work with Senior Management and PMs to create interactive dashboards on risk, returns and PnL drivers

DESIRABLE CANDIDATES:

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial markets
Strong technical skills, including Python, VBA, SQL and Tableau
Undergraduate or Masters level course work in Finance, Statistics or Mathematics preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently

BASE SALARY RANGE

$110k - $160k depending on experience
