Rothschild & Co's Asset Management division offers an independent long-term perspective in bespoke asset management solutions designed around the needs of each and every client.

We are a global multi-specialist asset manager delivering bespoke investment management and advisory services to institutional clients, financial intermediaries, and third-party distributors.

Overview of Role

The role focuses on providing support on the research, analysis and selection of managers across different asset classes, regions and sectors. The role requires close collaboration with the other research, portfolio management and investment advisory teams.

The candidate will demonstrate quantitative and qualitative fund research and analysis skills, contribute to the development and maintenance of research tools, procedures and initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and refine reporting, data and presentation tools
  • Handle performance data through Morningstar, MSCI, Bloomberg, Excel
  • Prepare presentation material for external and internal clients
  • Promote internally the Recommended Funds List
  • Onboard new and monitor existing Funds
  • Conduct active manager and ETF research, including ESG aspects
  • Help with writing of manager meeting reports and investment cases

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

  • Previous experience in long-only Fund Research of at least 3 years
  • University degree ideally in finance or economics, CFA and/or ESG certification is a plus
  • Affinity for financial markets, and an interest in fund research
  • Good knowledge of the mutual funds and ETF offering
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Some knowledge of VBA, SQL and/or Python would be appreciated
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and French, German or another language is a plus
  • Capacity to work in a team and autonomously
  • A “can-do” attitude, seeking continuous service improvement and high quality standards
