We have an Analyst role offering an exciting opportunity to join our New York Fixed Income and Currencies team as a Junior FX Trader.
Your role will initially involve supporting senior Traders, but quickly move to pricing spot FX, primarily in G10 currencies, to service our broad spectrum of client sectors. In addition to pricing and managing these risks, you will provide market commentary and insight to the global sales team on currencies and the wider macro environment. You will be well versed or have an interest in economic and political factors affecting currencies and be able to discuss with clients when required to promote the business.
As part of the dynamic and adaptable team in New York, you will develop into providing support, when required, to the Forwards and Options desk. This opportunity offers a high level of responsibility and resources needed to grow your career.
Our ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, with quantitative/modelling skills particularly desired, and a keen interest in financial markets. In addition to a bachelor’s degree, any trading or risk management experience would be looked upon highly, but this role could suit a candidate with general finance experience looking to develop their trading career. Ideally, you will have up to 2 years of experience, but slightly more senior level applicants will also be considered. By working flexibly, reflecting the 24-hour nature of FX markets, you will thrive in our dynamic and fast paced environment.
Please note this position will require the employee to be in the office 5 days a week. As our clients are global in nature, flexibility, and willingness to work outside of regular business hours, is sometimes required.
Join this team and become a contributor to a fast-growing global team!
