Do you want to work in an environment where your ideas make a difference? Join our New York office’s growing development team!
We are at the intersection of finance, cutting-edge technology and scientific research. To achieve this, our software development team works in teams with experienced traders to identify and execute tomorrow's strategies. We are always looking for creative, skilled and ambitious people to join us. With us, you will make a visible contribution to the further improvement of our technology environment. Our C++ team plays a critical role in our event-driven trading systems, which are designed to reliably handle vast amounts of data at ultra-low latencies.
As a Junior C++ Engineer, you will help improve our proprietary trading platform by writing efficient code and maintaining existing applications with a focus on low latency and stability. You will work in small teams grouped by business area and follow agile practices. Your team will own a set of related applications and work in tight, daily collaboration with business owners. These end users are only a short walk away, which creates swift feedback loops and immediate insight into the value that your code provides. To foster collaboration and enable autonomy, we maintain shared libraries, encourage code re-use, and continuously evolve our views on application architecture.
*Please note that the recruitment process will take place virtually or in person, but this position will be required to report in-person at our New York office.
Where permitted by applicable law, all new hires as of August 15th 2021, will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Accommodations related to this requirement will be available for individuals unable to be vaccinated due to a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.
