What you’ll do

· Maintain best practice for execution on all trades and ensure the desk is always providing optimal execution service to Portfolio Managers

· Proactively support the global Macro business, inclusive of communication of market color and major news events, development of trade ideas and distribution of internal reporting for senior management

· Understand day-to-day risk, regulatory, and compliance concerns associated with all execution matters in coordination with middle/back office and compliance teams

· Help innovate operational and technology development associated with the Macro trading business

· Manage broker relationships and provide feedback to all our execution counterparties in coordination with TCA/Broker Relations teams

What you’ll bring:

· 3-5+ years trading experience, preferably on the buy-side

· Deep understanding and experience within Macro products (Rates, FX, Futures, Commodities, Equity Index/ETF’s – for both linear and non-linear implementations)

· Experience supporting multiple Portfolio Managers

· Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work within a global team, supporting stakeholders on both the business and investment sides

· An ability to collate data and perform due diligence on range of business and investment topics

· Network of sell side contacts, particularly within traders / sales traders

· Commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards

· Deep curiosity, positive attitude, attention to detail and strong analytical skills

With respect to NY- and CA-based applicants, the starting base pay range for this role is between $165000 and $210000 annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, business needs and market demands. This role may also be eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.
