Job Description

Job Profile Summary:

Manage costs for Data and Research across the firm, ensuring accurate allocation to firm and funds. In your role you will help support the business in understanding their costs, and the impact of allocation changes, this includes providing reporting and analysis to senior business stakeholders and to MO for accurate fund budgeting and accruals. Your role will also include building and maintaining relationships with Man Groups Market Data providers and research brokers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide cost analysis and regular business reporting, across the investment engines.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, accrual preparation and forecasting.

  • Regular exchange reporting and declarations including Bpipe and DAD reports.

  • Administer Bloomberg terminals firm wide, including all orders and relocations.

  • Manage data inventory on Calero MDSL so it accurately reflects contracts, current service usage and agreed allocations.

  • Support the team in uploading Market Data invoices at busy periods.

  • Calculate market data invoice variance data and approve invoices on Workday against MDM records.

  • Liaise with brokers that pay for Market Data invoices on behalf of the firm.

  • Manage relationships with Market Data suppliers and raise queries where necessary.

  • Become a point of contact for Market Data requests within the firm.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • High level of familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook for mailbox management

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills

  • Experience in managing service provider accounts preferred

  • Able to follow and produce procedure notes for inputting and checking tasks

  • Willing contributor to team’s overall objectives and process improvements

  • Workday experience preferred but not necessary

  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems

  • Analytical, logical thinker with high attention to detail

  • A-Level educated or equivalent
