The Role

An operations role at XTX will provide exposure across all areas of the business. You will be given the opportunity to take ownership over processes early on. With the guidance of the team, candidates will improve and develop new processes using a range of technical skills such as Go and SQL. Resolving a broad set of daily issues will mean regularly interacting with other teams and external counterparties.

The team has presence in London, Singapore, New York, and Paris. This role is for New York.

**Responsibilities
**

  • Trade support, including daily reconciliations of cash, positions, and trading activity.
  • Liaising with counterparties and exchanges on daily issues.
  • Building and maintaining automated processes.
  • Working with the technology team to develop new tools and applications.
  • Managing cash/collateral across multiple brokers and clearing houses.
  • Production of various reports (including P&L, risk, treasury).
  • Live risk monitoring and escalation.
  • Regulatory reporting monitoring.
  • Onboarding new exchanges, counterparties, brokers, or products around the world as the business expands.
  • Opportunities to gain exposure to various assets classes across the entire trade life cycle.
  • Ad-hoc trade executions.
  • Ad-hoc data analysis and report generation.

Essential Attributes

  • Approximately 0-2 years of experience in a transferable role. We are happy to accept recent graduates for this role but you must be able to start immediately full-time in our New York office.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5 in Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Keen to learn new technical skills (we troubleshoot and/or write code every day).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Diligent, focused and prepared to take ownership early on.
  • Programming experience (Python, Java, Go) related to automation.
  • Experience with Equities, Futures, FX and Options is advantageous.
  • A demonstrated aptitude and interest in process improvement. **

The base salary range for this role is between $90,000 to $110,000 depending on relevant job-related skills and experience. You will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual performance bonus scheme and will enjoy a comprehensive package of benefits. All bonuses, benefits, and any sign-on payments are in addition to the base salary range stated.
