About the Role
Old Mission is looking for an Options Sales Trader that will help build and maintain meaningful trading relationships on behalf of the firm. This individual will work with our institutional clients to execute their trading strategies, leveraging Old Mission’s technology and global trading desks to deliver a positive and consistent experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with institutional clients of the firm
- Work closely with our principal trading desks, serving as a central point of contact between internal stakeholders and our external clients and partners
- Ensure efficient execution of options orders over the phone and electronically
- Cross sell with other global trading desks within Old Mission (ETFs, ADRs, equities, bonds)
- Willingness to travel / attend industry events and client meetings as needed
- Assist clients with pre/post trade information as needed
Required Skills
- 2+ years' experience in an options trading or sales trading role
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail - working with customers & internal trade desks
- Familiar with sell-side OMS products and MS Office products (specifically MS Excel, VBA knowledge is a plus)
- Understanding of basic options strategies
- Existing relationships with US Institutional clients are a plus
- Series 7 is required
