Overview
We are seeking someone with a curious mind and an entrepreneurial spirit to join one of our options market making desks focused on treasuries. The ideal candidate for this role will be tech-savvy, eager to learn, has the desire to make an impact, and takes initiative. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced traders and apply your knowledge to the desk quickly to help execute trading strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Work side by side with senior traders
- Learn proprietary methodologies and trading systems that support an established trading business
- Leverage quantitative skills in post-trade analysis utilizing Python or similar language
- Enhance existing trades; identify and pursue new opportunities
Requirements
- 3+ years of on-desk trading exposure, specifically with options products
- Possess a strong work ethic and be able to learn quickly in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
- Detail oriented and organized
- Experience with post trade analysis using mathematical statistical software
- Maintain composure and communicate clearly when under pressure
- Ability to succeed working as part of a diversified team
- Strong interest in trading and financial markets
- Strong understanding of math, probability, and statistics
- Experience using SQL, Python, and/or statistical modeling software
- Advanced aptitude for problem solving and multitasking
