Graham Capital Management, L.P. is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join our Portfolio Management team. The analyst will sit on the trading floor in our West Palm Beach office, working alongside the PM team in all aspects of trading and portfolio management. The candidate should possess financial modeling expertise in the traditional credit space, with a focus on fundamental analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Portfolio Manager with financial modeling and trade idea generation
  • Monitor the portfolio and assist with risk management. When appropriate, collect data and perform quantitative analysis on the portfolio and markets more broadly
  • Develop tools and analytics to assist in the portfolio management process

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant quantitative field
  • 5+ years credit experience on a trading desk or strategy (buy-side or sell-side)
  • Proficient in Python and VBA, Bloomberg, and working with data in Microsoft Excel
  • Coding and front-office financial modeling experience
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Highly motivated and intellectually curious

Our current hybrid work arrangement requires that all employees commute into our West Palm Beach office, CT office Mondays through Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

Base Salary Range

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000. The anticipated range is based on information as of the time this post was generated. The applicable annual base salary or hourly rate paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors, including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience, skills, and qualifications.

Base salary or rate does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
