Overview
As a Problem Manager/Data Analyst on our Technology team, you will deliver effective problem management and data analysis for the Bank’s technology platform, resulting in the provision of stable and robust services to support business applications. You will prevent problems, resulting incidents from happening, to eliminate recurring incidents and to minimize the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented. You will manage the life cycle of problems from problem identification, through root cause analysis, to the completion of associated remediation tasks of problems resulting from incidents in the production. You will also identify incident trends in production and initiate and manage proactive projects to prevent problems from occurring. In addition, you will also be performing data analysis and producing management reports of incident and problem records using Tableau.

What You’ll Do
Prevent problems and resulting incidents from happening, to eliminate recurring incidents and to minimize the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented
Responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the Problem Management Process, while leading Root Cause Analysis activities to successfully identify root causes of problems
Proactively identify problem trends and known error conditions and work towards a permanent solution, as well as perform detailed technology analyses to highlight weaknesses and make recommendations for improvement
Provide regular and reliable reporting of Problem Management data to meet management requirements, while collaborating with design/architecture teams to ensure best practices are adopted to ensure stability and supportability of applications and infrastructure
Perform trend analysis and pinpoint potential high-risk areas, and initiate resolution activities based on statistical data provided by Problem Managers, the Incident Management Team, or PM Tools
Responsible for performing data analysis and produce management reports of incident and problem records using Tableau
Skills You’ll Need
Experience in Client Service Support or Project Management and Global role in Financial Services Technology in a client facing function
High level of customer awareness and commercial focus
Strong analytic/diagnostic skills, attention to detail, communications skills, and ability to interact effectively with senior management
University degree or appropriate technical education level and ITIL version 3 foundation certificate
Strong Tableau skills
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Technical education (e.g. engineer, programmer, technician)
Problem Management experience desirable
Ability to interact successfully with a global team in multiple time zones and to influence across the organization
Working knowledge of incident tracking tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Remedy, Heat etc.)
Proficient experience in utilizing Tableau
