About the role

Zillow is seeking a dynamic Procurement Business Systems Analyst who is passionate about problem-solving, data analysis, systems optimization, and operational excellence. Reporting to the Director, Procure to Pay Operations, you will provide functional systems expertise to help ensure Zillow’s procurement software tools and related processes serve as a key catalyst for mission-aligned Zillow growth. This vital team member will collaborate daily with Technology and Product partners to own project outcomes and to deliver procurement and finance services systems enhancements, automation opportunities, reporting capabilities, and process improvements.

This role requires significant engagement with partners to navigate sophisticated challenges and opportunities while building extraordinary relationships across Zillow. ** You Will Get To:**

  • Provide business systems expertise for some of Zillow’s most important corporate applications, helping Procurement & Finance Services team members and users across Zillow get the most out of Workday Strategic Sourcing, Workday Procurement, Workday Expense, and other systems

  • Plan and implement user testing related to systems enhancements and process transformations

  • Create and monitor tickets for bug fixes and enhancements, collaborating with team members to gather, analyze, and document requirements, to explore root cause and solution options, and to prioritize systems work

  • Support and drive activities around security role provisioning, SOX, Audits, and compliance as it pertains to the procurement ecosystem

  • Function as the Procurement organization’s reporting authority, providing data-driven analysis and suggestions on how to develop relevant metrics and to improve the reporting ecosystem; help enable the organization to monitor, inspect, and achieve their objectives and key results

  • Deliver and support the implementation and ongoing enhancements of a broad spectrum of finance, T &E, and procurement reports, metrics, and business reviews

  • Lead / deliver process improvement initiatives and small to medium-sized projects from definition through implementation

  • Train users and act as a change champion for systems and process enhancements and transformation efforts

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $81,600.00 - $130,400.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics or similar combination of education and experience. MBA or related advanced degree preferred

  • 5 + years of experience in increasingly broader procurement/finance systems analyst roles with a consistent track record of delivering value from within Finance and Procurement organizations by collaborating effectively with technology and product management partners

  • Deep hands-on/power user experience with robust procure-to-pay systems such as Coupa, SAP, Ariba, or Workday; experience with Workday suite particularly desirable

  • Core knowledge of Procurement processes, practices, and control frameworks

  • Ability to capture, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information to tell a data driven story

  • Experience developing and improving Procurement reporting capabilities through building dashboards and reports within a Business Intelligence tool such as Tableau, Suplari, Workday ERP, or similar systems

  • Expertise synthesizing and documenting functional requirements in a way that helps create “shovel ready” tickets for delivery by finance technology developers and analysts

  • Ability to influence others and get results in a highly matrix environment

  • Strong organizational and customer service skills, along with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Creative problem solver with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
