Quantitative Analysis Director (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Stamford, Connecticut): Will provide leadership and analytical support in the development, deployment, and documentation of tools and methods for assessing various aspects of credit, market, operational, liquidity and treasury risk. Specific duties of the position include: leading the quantitative analyst team and overseeing model development and analytics projects; establishing strategies and directing the activities needed to design and develop new model frameworks; enhance existing model frameworks or analytics in support of variety of the lines of business; building and enhancing a variety of models or advanced analytical tools for financial risk analytics (e.g., liquidity, deposit, credit risk, interest rate risk, etc.) around different BAU purposes and regulations such as Basel III, CCAR and ICAAP; and directing, motivating, developing, and managing the performance of the management team and key staff. Possible domestic and international travel up to 20%. Telecommuting from within the United States permitted pursuant to Company policy.
Minimum requirements: Master's degree, or its equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field; and 6 years in any occupation providing experience in the financial and banking industry engaged in model development and model validation.
Must have: knowledge of bank quantitative analysis and experience using variety of numerical methods to develop mathematical or statistical models for credit risk and market risk; strong understanding of various regulations such as Basel III, CECL, CCAR, Stress Testing and ICAAP; demonstrated ability to understand, visualize and communicate quantitative results to non-quant subject matter expert audiences; proven experience with programming languages using at least one of the following: Python, R, Tableau, Excel or SQL with structured and non-structured data mart; experience with Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning techniques; and proven experience leading a group of quantitative analysts with a moderate to large scope of responsibility. Salary Range:
$165,000 - $247,500 Annual
