Quantitative Developer Intern (Pipeline Team)
Tudor Pipeline group seeks an organized and proficient Quant Developer intern to join their team. The candidate will work within a team of extremely talented and collaborative Quantitative Researchers, Engineers, and Portfolio Managers. The team is comprised of technical and hands-on builders, each wearing multiple hats, and so will the candidate.
Responsibilities
As a Quant Developer Intern on the team, you will collaborate with other members of the team. Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Manage and scale core components of our research infrastructure including data collection, machine learning framework, backtester etc.
- Build out data pipelines for collecting new alternative datasets that can be monetized and incorporated in live trading
- Add capabilities to our research and trading infrastructure for new assets/asset classes
- Build tools and automation that bring trading strategies to life
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a BS/MS/PhD program in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong programming background in Python and C++
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and have ownership mentality
- Experience with Python data science stack e.g., Pandas/Numpy/Scikit-learn
- Outstanding coding, debugging and analytical skills
- Devoted to writing automated tests

Compensation for Quantitative Developer Interns on the Pipeline team in New York has typically been $15,000-$18,000 per month, with the actual salary dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s education level, work experience and credentials, and/or skill level, geographic location, and other market conditions.
