Quantitative Developer interns are responsible for front office tools development and support to the staff of the department they are assigned to on various projects.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy efficient software solutions applicable to all fixed income trading desks.
- Maintain and develop back-end scripts as well as client/traders facing GUIs (web-based).
- Develop and maintain analytical libraries and tools to leverage both open source and proprietary numerical and statistical software packages.
- Integrate applications with cloud infrastructure providers to tackle storage and compute challenges across large datasets and parallel computations.
- Partner with investment professionals and quantitative researchers to define priorities, deliver custom software solutions, and improve the trading process.
- Receive structured learning on technical and quantitative skills.
- Build automated CDCI pipelines to support rapid but controlled transition from research to testing to production.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Python/R programming languages; working knowledge of PANDAS and Dash is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills including experience with macros/VBA.
- Experience with Distributed Computing, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Platform Development, Networking, System Design.
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills.
- Passion for technology, software development, and mathematics.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent field.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
