Your future role within QRT

You will be working in a constantly evolving environment as a desk-focused developer within a team of Fixed Income Quants and Traders. You will build applications providing market data and insights to inform trading decisions. Your tools will be built in a highly collaborative environment, where time to market is key and user feedback is immediate. Your experience in complex systems development will be highly valuable in improving and expanding our production processes.

Provide the results of automated business logic in a web-based front end
Productionize financial models developed by quants and traders
Take ownership of production processes to ensure constant alignment with business objectives
Continually expand and upgrade the team’s software infrastructure to accommodate the changing business needs and adapt to QRT’s evolving technical environment.

Your present skillset

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a software engineer
Python language expertise is a must
System Architecture Experience
Front-End Development Experience (ideally in React), or willingness to learn it
Relational Database / SQL Experience
Ability to multitask, set project priorities and work in a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills is a must
Experience in a front-office context in the fixed income space would be beneficial
