U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Quantitative Model Analyst (Multiple Positions) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Duties: Assist in the development of mathematical or statistical theory and machine learning models to collect, organize, interpret, summarize, and estimate numerical data to provide usable information. Create model development and/or validation documentation. Present the results of modeling and data analysis. Perform inaugural validations of models. Support the periodical engagement with regulators and internal audit to discuss justification and reasoning behind validation findings. Support the validation completed by vendors and offshore team, as needed. Support the enhancement of model validation procedures, testing processes and report template.
Qualifications:
The position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering/Physics, Analytics/Data Science, Finance, MBA, or closely related field. The qualified candidate must have at least 12 months of commercial or academic experience with statistical modeling and with at least three of the following skills/tools: Hadoop, Informatica, machine learning algorithms, MATLAB, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, VBA. Telecommuting available anywhere in US. HQ at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402. All experience may be gained concurrently.
