Your future role at QRT

You will be joining a community of graduates and interns, who are all looking to build a future career within QRT. You will have the opportunity to join a growing and dynamic environment, where you will be mentored from industry professionals to support your professional growth, with the opportunity to stay as a full-time graduate Quantitative Research Analyst upon successful completion of your internship.

As a Quantitative Research Analyst, your core objective will be to create high quality predictive signals using large and diversified datasets.

  • You will identify statistical patterns and opportunities, by leveraging complex data
  • Share and discuss research results, methodology, data sets and processes with other researchers
  • Work collaboratively with your fellow colleagues, from Researchers and Traders to Software Engineers

We are looking for interns who are willing to learn, be creative, and collaborate to support the wider growth and success of the firm.

Your present skillset

  • Pursuing an advanced degree in a quantitative field such as data science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or engineering
  • High level of technical knowledge in statistics, machine learning, NLP or AI techniques is a plus
  • Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while keeping strong attention to detail
  • Coding skills required in at least one leading programming language (Python, R, Matlab and /or C++, C#)
  • Experience in exploring large datasets across multiple time frames is a plus
  • Ability to work with autonomy within a collegial and collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills, who enjoys interacting with colleagues from a wide range of backgrounds and expertise
  • Fluent in English
