Job Description

Working at Atlassian Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Assuming you have eligible working rights and a sufficient time zone overlap with your team, you can choose to work remotely or return to an office as they reopen (unless it’s necessary for your role to be performed in the office). Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company. With a sufficient timezone overlap with the team, we're able to hire eligible candidates for this role from any location in Australia and New Zealand. If this sparks your interest, apply today and chat with our friendly Recruitment team further. Do you live and breathe research, love working with people, and thrive on applying insights to influence product design and strategy? Atlassian is searching for a Quantitative Researcher to join our growing research team. More about the opportunity: You will join a smart and ambitious team working on our rapidly growing new product Jira Work Management. You'll work closely with other researchers, product managers, designers, engineers, data analysts and more, to inform product development and measure the impact of the team's work. At the same time, you'll be part of a broader Research team with members across the globe and with varied backgrounds and experiences. This is an exciting role for a motivated, hands-on quantitative researcher who has a passion for improving products and services and wants to work on large scale and impactful customer solutions. It'll also suit a researcher keen to immerse themselves deeply in the product development process, and to collaborate broadly across a large organisation. More about our team: You will be joining a team that is very smart and always open and direct. We challenge each other constantly to improve our work and ask hard questions. We're dedicated to agile methodology and big believers in 'lean', which means we don't do documentation for documentation's sake. We also know all too well the importance of validating assumptions about users and use various types of testing to prove ourselves right (or wrong). It's all about improving our users' experience no matter who or where it is. Our perks & benefits To support you at work and play, our perks and benefits include ample time off, an annual education budget, paid volunteer days, and so much more. About Atlassian The world’s best teams work better together with Atlassian. From medicine and space travel, to disaster response and pizza deliveries, Atlassian software products help teams all over the planet. At Atlassian, we're motivated by a common goal: to unleash the potential of every team. We believe that the unique contributions of all Atlassians create our success. To ensure that our products and culture continue to incorporate everyone's perspectives and experience, we never discriminate based on race, religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, or marital, veteran, or disability status.
