Overview

GTS is seeking a Quantitative Researcher to join its Options Market Making team, the market maker for more than 735,000 individual securities across 13 global exchanges. The Options Market Making team trades approximately 2% of all exchange traded equity options volume in the United States.

Responsibilities

As a Quantitative Researcher, the candidate will collaborate within the Options team and the organization to develop quantitative trading platforms. The main mandate of the role includes development and maintenance of option pricing models and fair value models with an objective of improving team’s trading PnL.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields with a strong foundation in statistics.
  • 2+ years of work experience in building option pricing models at a major investment bank or a top option trading team.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and modeling/valuation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in C/C++/Java and Python.
  • A team player with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.

In accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $225,000. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
