Deutsche Bank Group Strategic Analytics (Strats) work in close partnership with Trading, Sales, Middle Office, and Technology groups to design and develop solutions to a wide range of problems. They deliver analytics and applications that solve quantitative problems for businesses across Deutsche Bank Investment Banking businesses.

You will be joining the Equity Strats team, contributing to the build and support of an equity ecosystem within the strategic cross-asset platform to value and risk manage Equity exposure throughout the firm in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

Your key responsibilities

  • Work closely with trading and other stakeholders to help them work through their daily tasks
  • Provide quantitative help to trading in areas such as market data marking, modelling and product structuring
  • Contribute to the valuations & risks implementation
  • Attentive to the current platform gaps/ issues and design solutions to improve its accuracy, performance, and maintainability
  • Define automation aiming to reduce maintenance burden and increase quant productivity

Your skills and experience

  • Knowledge of the Equity derivatives space and systems supporting an Equity trading business
  • Good understanding of derivatives products, their pricing and market data requirements are advantageous
  • Ability to manage scope and time to deliver projects effectively and efficiently
  • Experience of statically typed development language preferably C++
  • Experience of python a plus
