Job Title: Quantitative Trader

Major Responsibilities: Engage with systematic medium or high frequency strategies for U.S. and Global Equities. Handle strategies that include market-making, stat arb or similar. Work on teams, in a collaborative environment, to seek out and profitably trade mispriced securities. Ensure disciplined decision making, risk management, derivative pricing, researching new opportunities as well as executing hedge trades. Also perform detailed research and analysis of live trading strategies as well as investigate new strategies and/or business opportunities. Use market making experience with company technology and make an immediate contribution to the firm.
Job Requirements: Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Finance, Computational Finance or a related field, plus 4 years of experience in the equities trading industry. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, C++, Java, VBA, R, Matlab, or Ruby; (2) Developing statistical arbitrage strategies and managing risk; (3) Developing and testing various alpha strategies, signal tilting/combination logic, prediction indicators; (4) Identify, asses, and control threats to the organization’s capital and earnings; and (5) Portfolio management and relative value pricing. Series 7 license from FINRA required.
