JOB DESCRIPTION
The Risk Management framework centers on the principle of diversification across liquid strategies and capital preservation. The team provides a transparent and complete understanding of the risks to which the Firm is exposed using quantitative analysis and portfolio construction methods. The team works closely with the Management Team in investment talent selection and capital allocation decisions.
This role has the option to lead to full-time employment.
Responsibilities:
- Work with senior risk managers on analyzing portfolios and markets
- Applying quantitative techniques on multi-dimensional data to deliver insight
- Research innovative ways to display and communicate changes in risk and markets
- Assist risk managers in ensuring our framework is being monitored and appropriate action being taken
- Work with our risk technologists to ensure our infrastructure is continually improving
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's, master’s or PhD program in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Practical programming experience in Python (or other languages)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, demanding environment
