Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Investment Operations professional to be a Senior Associate on our team. Senior Associates support Managers by ensuring data integrity, accurate portfolio accounting and timely reconciliation across custodian, fund administrators, counterparties and internal systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, vendor management experience and a deep understanding of investment operations best practices. Acadian supports a hybrid work environment, employees are on- site in the Boston office 3 days a week.
What You’ll Do:
We’re Looking for Teammates With:
A minimum of five years of operations-related experience, preferably in Investment Management.
Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or another financial related degree preferred.
Strong understanding of investment instruments including foreign equities, fixed income and derivatives.
Experience working with or overseeing fund administrators, custodian banks and outsource providers.
A strong analytical background, vendor management experience and knowledge of financial accounting principles and best practices.
Strong Excel skills and comfort with data analysis and exception reporting.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a team player mentality.
Must be detail oriented, flexible, able to work within a team-orientated environment, with vendors, as well as independently.
