The Role

The Senior Data Analyst will serve as a key resource in Schonfeld’s endeavor to launch a Data Integrity & Governance (DIG) program. The DIG program has been established to deliver business-driven data and analytics governance, which will enable Schonfeld to achieve business outcomes more efficiently.

What you’ll do ** **

The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with the Director of DIG Technology, Head of Business Analytics as well as other internal and external stakeholders on the creation of a data and analytics governance program and associated technology platform. You will spearhead the creation of data ontology and business glossaries. You will improve business outcomes by partnering on business initiatives, and through those partnerships lead improvements in the creation of and adherence to data governance best practices. The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate on the identification of meaningful data quality indicators, and development of data maturity assessments for data producers and consumers. The ideal candidate will have a strong affinity for data and is passionate about data quality.

What you need:

  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise data management and data governance best practices
  • Proven experience driving change
  • Data Analysis and Data Modeling experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong ownership experience and a track record of delivering results

We’d love if you had:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in financial services
  • Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS/Google Cloud/Azure)

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $150,000 and $200,000. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance bonus and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
