Develops strategies, researches and designs algorithms after analysing an assigned portfolio/market. Develops algorithms to build models that uncover connections and make better decisions without human intervention. Communicates strategies with other developers to help code the strategies – including evaluating algorithms and altering them as needed. Works closely with quantitative developers, technologists as well as trading desks to build out a multi-strategy algorithmic trading framework.
- Designs, implements and tests statistical models and algorithms.

- Tailors the algorithmic container to meet the demand and develop to support more sophisticated algorithmic strategies.
- Backtests the trading strategy to validate whether the trading strategy is successful or not.
